Expensive Mistake Men Make When Trying To Keep The Date Under Twenty Dollars

Many men who follow the rule of spending less than 20 dollars on a date are unknowingly breaking the rule by making one small mistake. Even though this mistake doesn't cause the man to go over twenty dollars in reality it does cause him to go over in her perception of the date.

Which in turn lowers your value in her mind and raises hers as well, both of which are a main reason why you don't want to spend over 20 dollars on a date in the first place.

So what is this mistake that you are potentially making?

Not letting a woman know when something has been given to you for free which would otherwise hold significant value.

For example I have a friend who is in sports television and from time to time offers me baseball tickets in the suite or behind home plate which easily can cost a couple of hundred dollars each. Now, if I invite a girl to the game I make sure to tell her that my friend gave me the tickets so that she knows how much it cost me which would be nothing.

Perhaps you are wondering why you shouldn't just withhold this information and let her think that you are really trying to impress her?

You want her to be impressed with who you are and not what you can buy or get.

Let's pretend for a moment that in my previous example instead of telling the girl I got the tickets for free, I simply didn't tell her anything and let her think whatever she likes. When I hand her the ticket she is going to see the price of the ticket because they clearly mark it on the front and she is going to think 1 of 3 things:

1."Wow, he sure did spend a lot of money on me for a first date, guess he is trying to buy his way towards attraction."

2. "Wow, he must've got these from somebody else because all he got me was a soda pop from the snack bar. Who does he think he is fooling?"

3. "Nice tickets to the ball game a girl could get use to this."

Yet when you do tell her where you got the tickets from and that you paid nothing for them; in her mind she will think:

1."He must be pretty cool to score tickets like this"

2. He is so confident in himself because he didn't try and pass these tickets off like he bought him which most guys I normally date would have done."

3. "What an interesting guy a girl could get use to this"

Now it's important to remember that the twenty dollar date rule isn't just there to save you money but to ensure that the girl wants you just for you and to create attraction in her which is what you want to be doing all the time anyways.
