How to Sparkle on your Wedding Day!

Fastly becoming a popular idea at weddings, sparklers are the hottest addition to reception tables for summer weddings. Not only are they great fun, but they are a real ice-breaker.

Many brides also comment on how fantastic the photographs look whilst guests are enjoying their sparklers!

Sparklers are available in a range of designs and colours to suit any wedding theme and can be given to guests as favours. Some brides tie heart or star shaped sparklers to napkins with co-ordinating ribbon. They look fantastic and it's a really different idea for a favour. Many brides give the sparklers to the ladies and a personalised matchbook to the men. This way, in order for the sparklers to start 'sizzling' the ladies and the men need to communicate. A perfect way for singletons at a wedding to get chatting! Alternatively, they can be incorporated into floral centrepieces. Intersperse different coloured sparklers with beautiful fresh flowers that can be lit when dusk falls. Brides request that after the speeches, reception staff light the sparklers around the room in unison; I can hear the cries of ooh and aah aready! Some brides ask some of their guests to light the sparklers when they are given the nod. This is a great way of including peripheral guests in the proceedings.

However you incorporate them, they are guaranteed to get your reception off with a sizzle and a sparkle. Watch out for the kids and any furry guests though because sparks will fly!
