Easy Home Remedy Treatment for Heartburn

 

When a person gets heartburn, they want immediate relief. For some, the pain of heartburn can bring tears to their eyes. Severe heartburn can cause serious damage to your throat and over time surgery may be required to repair it.

Eating a banana after every meal may help to alleviate heartburn symptoms as the banana has a protective barrier to protect against the acid that causes heartburn. For those who suffer from heartburn often and do not want to take a lot of medication, home remedies may work for them.

Another home remedy for heartburn is to combine Take a mixture of two tsp of natural apple cider vinegar and two tsp raw honey in a glass of water before meals. Eating specific foods when heartburn starts can alleviate the symptoms quickly. Tucking a piece of clove under your tongue and letting it dissolve slowly will give you relief from heartburn.

It will also reduce the risk of diseases that can be associated with heartburn. Eating a cup of vanilla ice cream can also alleviate the symptoms of heartburn. Almonds can be a nutritious snack, but they can also lessen the symptoms of heartburn when taken in large amounts. Eating a lemon before meals will stop heartburn before it starts.

Doctors advise that eating before bed or lying down just after a meal will induce heartburn. They advise that you sit straight up for one half hour after eating. This gives your body a chance to digest the food that was just eaten.
