Coldplay can do no wrong when it comes to creating music and performing their catalogue of hits. Besides being great songwriters, they also put on one incredible live show. When the band goes on tour, Coldplay tickets become a highly sought after items among the bands large mass of fans.

Coldpay is a young, alternative rock band that has been influencing the sound of modern music since 1998. Originating from Britain, this group of four includes Chris Martin on vocals and piano, Jon Buckland on guitar and harmonica, Guy Berryman on bass guitar and synthesizer and Will Champion on drums. These four frisky young men realized their mutual appreciation for music while living together in the dormitories at the University College London. By 2000, they had jelled into the current lineup of the band and wrote their debut album, Parachutes.

Parachutes rocketed up the charts with the single Yellow leading the way with regular airplay in the UK and in the States. Within six months, 1.6 million copies had been sold in the United Kingdom alone. Many critics had a lot to say about the album, not only that it was a phenomenal album for this young, inexperienced band but also some criticized it for having a strong resemblance to one of their major influences, Radiohead. After conquering Europe with their radio friendly yet insightful music, Coldplay headed to the United States for the big time.

Coldplay introduced themselves to American pop culture with a small U.S. club tour and appearances on Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Conan OBrien and The Late Show with David Letterman. After their Intense performances, Americans were waiting in line to get their Coldplay tickets. Parachutes had moderate success in America but, more importantly, it established Coldplay in the consciousness of music lovers everywhere. Their next album, A Rush of Blood to the Head, was just what they needed to bust the music scene apart and become musical mega-stars.

In August of 2002, Coldplay released their second album with numerous hits like The Scientist, In My Place, and Clocks. Coldplay catapulted into super-stardom hemisphere including more award accolades and the lead singers marriage to movie sweetheart, Gwyneth Paltrow. You too can experience the awesome spectacle of Coldplay by lining up your Coldplay tickets today.
